The quality of the manufactured equipment is checked on a test bench
To improve the control of the efficiency of aerosol filters cleaning from aerosols by the most penetrating particles and check the resistance to air flow, the enterprise has installed an automated test bench. It tests aerosol and aerosol-iodine filters for the nuclear industry in real time according to GOST R 58206-2018 (GOST REN 1822-5-2014). The bench was developed by FSUE “VNIIFTRI” – the leading metrological institute of Russia.
The system visualizes and monitors in real time: pressure drop on the filter, temperature, air velocity and flow rate, cleaning efficiency by test particles. Data is displayed on the operator’s screen in the form of mnemonic diagrams, tables, graphs, warnings and alarms. Parameters, messages are archived for analysis, results are printed in tables.
