Aerofilter, a leading Russian manufacturer of specialized filtration equipment of the new generation, has officially become a participant in the Federal Project "Labor Productivity," which is implemented as part of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy." The initiative in the Kaluga Region is operated by the Regional Competence Center (RCC), which operates on the basis of the Business Development Agency of the region.
AeroFilter started its activities in 2004 and has been producing specialized filtration equipment of the new generation for NPPs and other facilities of the NEA, medical institutions, whose activity is associated with radiochemistry, chemical, pharmaceutical, metallurgical and other types of industrial and civil enterprises for more than twenty years. The company introduces new technologies, has 14 patents for development and regularly expands the range of filters for different industries. AeroFilter LLC offers not only standard solutions, but also the possibility of creating unique air purification systems that fully meet the customer's needs. The company has a testing laboratory accredited by Rosatom State Corporation.
Joining the federal project was a natural step in the company's development strategy, which focuses on digitalization, efficiency, and sustainable growth.
"We learned about the opportunity to participate in the federal project "Labor Productivity" from our close partner, FILTR JSC. Our main goal is to increase productivity by optimizing key production processes. Although we have a well-established system at our company, we are eager to work more efficiently. Participating in the project will allow us to see our processes from the perspective of experts and address any issues they may identify. I think that we should focus on the movement of documentation, but we will work on it comprehensively," said Evgeny Ilchenko, Operations Director of AeroFilter LLC.
In the near future, the company's team will undergo basic training in lean production principles. Then, the "Diagnosis and Planning" stage will begin: a reference area will be established, where current work processes will be digitized under the supervision of the production manager. Within three months, the company will establish a project office consisting of employee instructors to implement changes and replicate successful practices.
