Designed for use at various industrial facilities, including nuclear power facilities, where it is necessary to locally perform highly effective air purification from radioactive solid aerosols, iodine, and its compounds (gaseous radioactive waste – GRW). UVFPC is used as a local means of removing (by suction) contaminated air from the work area, including GRW, for subsequent purification in the filtration chamber of the unit.
The installation consists of separate units, assembled at the place of operation into a filter complex of the required layout with the help of filtration chambers (main or spare), a ventilation chamber and flexible ventilation hoses of various lengths. The main filtration chamber provides a combined highly efficient purification of air from GRO containing solid aerosols, iodine and its compounds, using 4 different filters. The spare filtration chamber is used only for highly efficient filtration of air from solid aerosols and is supplied as part of the Installation's accessories in order to maximize the preservation of the expensive sorbent filter located in the main filtration chamber. Therefore, only three aerosol filters of the same modification are located in the spare filtration chamber.
APPLICATIONS
Nuclear industry facilities, medical facilities, enterprises involved in the processing of radioactive waste, chemical industry enterprises, welding shops, painting shops, and laboratories.
